WHAT TO BRING WITH?

Main member ID

Referral letter from the dentist (if provided)

New Patient Form available here

Patient information can be e-filled on the MyGrandCentral platform.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CONSULTATION VISIT?

After the initial consultation, you will receive a complete medical-aid-ready report with ALL the information and detail needed to obtain authorization from your medical scheme.

Due to the ever-changing rules and benefit structures of our patients’ medical schemes, we do not obtain authorization for your treatment, but provide you with ALL necessary detail to easily submit the application yourself.

It is envisioned that our patients can better plan their medical/dental spending when

they are advised in writing from their scheme exactly what is covered and what not.

How are we assisting you in payment for treatment with us?

– We claim the first visit consultation from your medical aid.

– After you have obtained authorization from your medical scheme, we claim the initiation fee (approx. 30%) directly from your medical aid.

– For the balance of the payment, you will be invoiced directly on a monthly basis. Once again in our medical-aid-ready electronic format, which you can then easily forward to your medical aid. We do not submit these invoices to the medical aid from our side.

Please feel free to ask all the questions you need to know about our payment structure beforehand, so that we have the best teamwork during your journey with us

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Comprehensive Evaluation

Dr Paul will do a detailed examination of your mouth and teeth, jaw positions and facial features.

Digital photographs

Clinical photographs from various angles will be taken of your teeth as well as your face.

The images record the presenting situation and serve as reference to evaluate progress.

These are used to compile reports to your referring dentist and medical scheme.

Study casts / Impressions

An impression/mould of your teeth will be taken to assess its relation on casts.

The casts are used for measurements and treatment planning.

X-RAY IMAGES

Two x-ray images will be taken:

One to screen the health of teeth and bone of the jaws, wisdom teeth position, any abscesses, growths and other possible abnormalities (panoramic view).

Another in profile view to assess the dental and jaw relations of the face (cephalometric view).

After compilation and processing of all the information, a treatment plan and possible alternatives will be presented to you.

Please note the consultation appointment
will take approximately 45 – 60 minutes.
